ADSL Contract Term and Setup Cost

Important Things You Need to Know

TPG Broadband is available nationwide, excl. Tasmania, subject to availability.

TPG ADSL plans are paid by Credit Card (CC) or Direct Debit (DD) monthly in advance.

Upload traffic is not counted.

Monthly Access Charge

Monthly access charge is the monthly subscription fee for your plan. This charge does not include excess download and other additional charges. Monthly access charge is paid by Credit Card (CC) or Direct Debit (DD) monthly in advance.

Download Quota and Speed Shaping:

Download Quota means the amount of data you can download during a one billing month. Unused allowance is forfeited. Once the specified monthly download quota is reached, download speed is reduced to the "shaping" speed until the end of the billing month. Shaping allows you to download even when you go over monthly download quota and protect you from unexpected excess download charges.

* Consists of peak (9am - 4am) and off peak (4am - 9am customer's local time) download quota. Speed will be shaped to 64k/64k for the period in which the download quota has been exceeded (peak and/or off peak).

~ Speed will be shaped to 64k once inclusive download quota is reached until the start of the next billing month.

** Consists of peak (9am - 4am) and off peak (4am - 9am customer's local time) download quota. Speed will be shaped to 128k/128k for the period in which the download quota has been exceeded (peak and/or off peak).

~~ Speed will be shaped to 128k once inclusive download quota is reached until the start of the next billing month.

#The actual speeds may vary due to many factors such as your distance from your local telephone exchange, the quality of your copper phone line and broadband equipment.

Minimum Contract Term Cost:

Minimum cost for TPG ADSL Plans over 6 months with BYO compatible modem: 256 /8GB is $239.65, Ultimate Unlimited 256 is $299.65, Ultimate 512/25GB is $299.65, Ultimate 1500/25GB is $359.65, Ultimate 1500/50GB is $419.65, Ultimate 1500/80GB is $479.65, Ultimate Premium 8000/25GB is $539.65, Ultimate Premium Plus 8000/50GB is $659.65, Ultimate 1500/25GB with VoIP is $359.65, Ultimate 1500/80GB with VoIP is $499.65, Ultimate Premium 8000/25GB with VoIP is $559.65.

Minimum total cost for ADSL plans over contract term calculated as: (ADSL contract tem) x $(ADSL monthly access fee) + setup (where applicable) + modem & delivery fee (if required) + VoIP Deposit of $20 (applicable to ADSL VoIP plans only). Early termination fees apply.
